Sara,
Something for you and John to contemplate. I have a murder mystery script, "Do U Really Want 2 Hurt Me, Do U really want to Kill me now???". I play tons of 80s music and whenever we do the show, the actors are dressed 80s so we have the audience come dressed 80s as well. I have done this show over 60 times, it is a fine-tuned machine of great times and lots of laughs. I play Columbo, I have a hostess, there's the 80s diva Baby, her Billy Idol-wannabee co-star, the groupie Pretty Woman who is actually a hired assassin called Buffy Stottlemyer and the lecherous road manager, Larry Leach. I would like to offer my services to you for a Nightingale Fundraiser.
If we could cast Nightingale actors who would donate their services, I would do it free and you would only need to arrange tables, chairs and catering...it would be a dinner fundraiser. It would go from 7-10pm, so
maybe it could be on a night you also have an event,
like Ms. Center of the Universe. This show is a guaranteed party pleaser...tons of 80s music, funny characters, light on the mystery and heavy on the laughs. I think you could make some money, if there was any way to move the bleachers. I'm sure you could get a caterer that would donate their services, or a sponsor that could pay for the food. For my part, I know the show would be very entertaining, and if you could get 75-100 people in the space, I think you'd make some money. I was just thinking how I might be able to help you with your fundraising campaign, so...think about it...I have some open Saturday nights...Just wanted to let you know...My best to you, Jim
