Biography:
All my life, I've loved writing, acting, and music. Those
are my passions! I love words and language! (I enjoy dancing, too, but I've got a long way to go on that one.) I attempt to play the guitar, piano, hammered dulcimer, violin, and other instuments, and I enjoy making jewelry. I believe that God longs to give us the desires of our hearts so that He may be glorified. That is my mission, to use the gifts and desires He has given me so that I may glorify Him and allow His light to shine through me in a sometimes dark world. I believe that God created us in His image, and as
His creations, we too, long to create and express all that is
within us.

Romans 8:28
Some Of My Favorite Quotes:
"Every act of our lives strikes some chord that will vibrate
in eternity." - Rick Warren
"Miracles are a retelling in small letters of the very same story
which is written across the whole world in letters too large
for some of us to see." - C.S. Lewis
"You are the one person you can never get away from.
Wherever you go, there you are." - Joyce Meyer
"I love writing. I love the swirl and swing of words as they
tangle with human emotions." - James Michener
"Courage is being scared to death and saddling up anyway."
- John Wayne
"What sounds are these that sting as they caress, that irrupt
into my soul and twine about my heart?" - Nikolai Gogol

Quenching Katrina's Craving

Quenching Katrina's Craving

Blissful in their Potemkin village,
Rejecting ghosts of Deja-Vous,
Of cresting waves and their pillage,
Ominous breezes, sweeping blue.

Tropically dressed,
And so very sly,
A bedizened temptress
Avoids the radar's eye.

The Chimera's thrust,
And tentacles' thrash
Heed to her lust.
They whip and lash.

The Boulevardier vainly parades,
Lambasting all within her path,
Wildly snatching as she raids,
Unleashing Nature's wrath.

Devouring only the tastiest morsels,
Regurg… Continue

A Glimpse of Rock

A Glimpse of Rock

Two angels engaging in conversation,
Were watching a man, from above,
“Do you think he has any realization
Of the impact he makes through his love?”

“Do you think he knows
Or even gives thought
To the seeds that he sows
In these kids he has taught?”

“Does he ever ponder
That he’s a champion for the child?”
“Do you think he wonders?”
“No, he’s too humble, meek, and mild.”

“He’s a selfless servant, only thinking of others,
Always giving his very best,
People are proud to cal… Continue

Lamentations for Lines and Lyrics Lost

Lamentations for Lines and Lyrics Lost

Expressing the decades, my poems defined me,
Birthing each one and clutching them to my breast,
My offspring, the essence of my being,
Encoded with my poetic DNA, my soul,
Never allowing them to venture out of sight,

So many darlings I recall from elementary years,
Later the “wonder why” rebels
From high school and college: sheer wonder,
And expressions of loss, love, and triumph:
“Ode to the Walrus,” “Oquin’s Stoplight,”
The Wordsworth inspired, “Indeed… Continue

Thief of Thoughts

Thief of Thoughts

For so very long it seems, I sought,
The one who stole my memories, my thoughts,
No more total, instant recall,
Who would dare to have such gall?

--- Now where was I? Oh, yes!

Once I caught her in my peripheral,
The feeling, it appeared, reciprocal,
In a blur, I spied her fangs and claws,
Her name, I believe, was Menopause.

--- Where was I going with this? Oh, right!

She placed my memories in a ceramic jar,
High upon a shelf, not so very far,
Keeping it almost within my gr… Continue

It was great to see you too. Sorry we didn't get to chat. I wasn't planning on Quartz Mountain this year. Sure was a great time though. Such an invigorating environment! I'm still working on my screenplay from last year. :( Actually, I've tabled that one and am writing another that I hope to be shooting next Summer. We'll see. So far, the progress isn't any faster than the first one. Sigh. This creative stuff takes work don't it? Hope you're feeling better soon.

hey. Currently I have a supply job that may turn permanent at a mainstream school, teaching assistant. I also have a improv show in london soon, if I'm allowed to do it (things are changing and I'm hardly down there.) Trying to push dead weight of my own improv stuff in Cardiff. Directing an improvised version of Cinderella for an Inclusive Youth Club. Doing an inclusive xmas show - the job will contradict that one though. (Can't have it both ways)
... had my phone stolen when I last did a show in London ... now got a replacement, but it cost a lot due to the handset being worth a lot. Actually bored of life, I think, but thats due to not being able to find improvisers in Cardiff. I seem to be wasting my life with doing nothing. It may seem a lot all that stuff above - but its apparently not enough. It'll get better, I just ave to be patient and wait for the onslaught of stuff to happen. Buses come in twos after all.
Hows yourself? Whats happening for you?

jobless, penniless and busy.

Got shows coming up and still need players. Got to find work. Interviews, auditions and marketing. etc etc.

Hope all is well over there?

Hey.
All is okay. When I say ok I mean I have no job and no government support, thus no money, and got so much to sort out that only I will be able to sort out with my theatre group, as I have no one else to do it... and I still have to work out how I can actually afford to goto London and do the shows (travels down is booked). With so much going on and outside of that I do not do much (I cant even work that one out, so much and not much) it drives me insane. Not to say I volunteer my time away too much. Now got a filming project on that is voluntary.
Yeah all is well anyway. And you?

Lisa, I don't mess with Facebook nor Twitter. I'd like to get back
to see Crayons, but they keep scheduling when I'm in a play or
Laughing Matter performance. By the way, Laughing Matter isn't
getting together again to rehearse until latter part of August.
