In 2003, Jon’s passion for the visual arts birthed E. F. Productions. He and his family (along with others) work together as a team producing quality media tools for both ministry and businesses. In August of 2006, Jon left the corporate world to pursue his God-given dream of full-time business. He has expanded his original business, Edwards Electronics, to incorporate the production business, as well as, extending to include Web design.
Jon was educated as an Industrial Electronics Technician at OSU Tech and achieved an associate degree in that field. Jon has 19 years of experience as a process control trouble shooter/maintenance technician working in manufacturing. He, also, has had the privilege of working in several fields involving electronic skills; including, consumer, commercial, industrial and broadcast electronics.
Since the late 1980’s, Jon has been involved in building and repairing computers and installing computer networks for small to medium sized businesses. He has traveled to many major cities in the United States as an electronic engineer/technician repairing and modifying equipment for an electronic manufacture. In 1994, Jon started working with KBIX AM 1490 in Muskogee, Oklahoma as a contract engineer. Jon performed many tasks, such as, on air personality, program director for on air commercial spots and voice talent for commercial productions. In 1995, Jon directed and overseen the relocation of KBIX studios and the eventual move of its transmitter site. During this time, Jon, also, worked for other radio stations; both AM and FM.
In January 2008 Jon received his CBT (Certification as a Broadcast Technologist) from the Society of Broadcast Engineers which he plans to use in the areas of consultation and services for businesses and organizations.
I am looking for some local voice over talent for a client's Radio and TV commercials. I prefer:
Female
35+
Nurturing, but not syrupy sweet
Professional, but not too proper
Warm, personable, happy (they should sound lit up inside)
Preferably no recognizable tv or radio talent currently.
After reading the requirements....I don't think I am your girl....while I can look good in many types of clothing, the daisy duke thing was never one of them...not enough "junk in my trunk" for that look. I have done music video work before and enjoyed it. YouTube the video if you'd like....Black Jarr music video cut. Thank you, and keep me in mind for future projects. Good luck!!
Good to hear from you, Jon! I would've said Meghan Hurley, but she's in California now. Others I can think of on TCN would be Stephanie Garrison, Heather Sams, Crystal Lake, Amy Carlin Lee, and Samantha Woodruff. If I think of any others, I'll get back to you. You might also consider Sara Wilemon. I think she's listed as Ilsa on TCN. Best wishes! ~ Lisa
