BACP ANNOUNCES AUDITIONS FOR
Neil Simon’s
“The Sunshine Boys”

The Broken Arrow Community Playhouse is pleased to announce auditions for Neil Simon’s comedy “The Sunshine Boys” on Sunday, July 12, 2009 at 5:00 PM. The cast includes: Two men of mature age, plus men and women of various ages. The audition will consist of cold readings from the script; a resume and photo would be appreciated. This is an excellent opportunity for seasoned actors.

As the legendary vaudeville team The Sunshine Boys, Willie Clark and Al Lewis
had it all: hilarious gags, classic sketches and faultless comic timing. Together for
forty-three years, they achieved national fame; apart, they’re a couple of lonely old
men, nursing grudges against each other. They reluctantly reunite for a one-shot opportunity to be in the limelight in this touchingly funny story of friendship and reconciliation.

Directed by Martha Cherbini, this will be the first production of BACP’S 30th Season – “Lust, Laughs and Love” The first of six performances is scheduled for Friday, September 4th, 2009.
